Development of state administration in Indonesia

In Indonesia, development of state administration can be devided into several periods started from the Proclamation of Independence 17 August 1945 hithero. The periods of the development of state administration can be detailed as follow.

a. period of the implementation of UUD 1945 ( 18 August 1945 – 27 December 1949)

Form of state is Unitary, form of government is republic, and governmental system is Presidential.

b. Period of the implementation of 1949 RIS Constitution (27 December 1949 – 17 August 1950)

Form of state is United state, form of government is republic, and governmental system is Parliamentary. And state equipment according to 1949 RIS Constitution are :

Executive, President and Ministers

Legislative, Senat and DPR

Judicative, Supreme court

c. Period of the implementation of 1950 UUDS (17 August 1950 – 5 July 1959)

Form of state is Unitary, form of government is republic, and governmental system is Presidential, and state equipment according to 1950 UUDS are :

1. President

2. Ministers

3. The People’s representative council

4. Supreme court

5. State Audit Council

d. Period of the reimplementation of UUD 1945 ( 5 July 1959 – Now )
